Deep underneath us lives ‘fLomLy Yo-muLe’. He gobbles clods of dirt with his left mouth and spits it out his right mouth. He loves mud, finds sand bland, fancies plants and tried coral once in a tropical restaurant. fLomLy has fifteen teeth as blunt as dull twits. Things stick in one ear and out the other: boot soles, microwave trays, toilet roll holders..Enough junk to make a scrapyard shrug. One day he tried to remove the junk that was firmly stuckin his earhole. After dumping a pint of petrol in there it still wouldn’t dissolve. Twas lucky the wind was flowing west when he lit it with a match, ‘cos he got blown up and eastward into a rock pocket, narrowly escaping the cataclysmic cave-in of his catacomb home.
